Green Canyon Indonesia (Low Budget Travel) - Green Canyon is located in the village of Kertayasa, Cijulang Ciamis West Java. Distance of Green Canyon from Ciamis town is about 130 Km, while the distance from Pangandaran is about 31 KM. besides Green Canyon, Tourism area are located around Green Canyon are Batukaras, Batu Hiu and Lapangan Terbang Nusawiru. Routes that can be passed from Jakarta is through Cipularang - Cileunyi (Bandung) - Tasik Malaya - Ciamis – Banjar- Pangandaran
Green Canyon is actually a river stream Cijulang passing penetrate caves which are decorated by beautiful stalaktif and stalagmite. To reach this beautiful location we had to depart from the dock Ciseureuh then continue the trip by boat or paddle temple. Travel time required for go to the Green Canyon which is about 30 - 45 minutes. Along the way we will see the beautiful color of the river water is green. Maybe, this is where the name of Green Canyon comes.

If we've seen the flow of clear water and the river increasingly narrowed. So that the boat was not able to log in again, it signifies that we've arrived at Green Canyon. Here, the adventure begins. To arrive at the beautiful place we must swimming or creep on the edge of rock. More recommended if we swim because we could better enjoy the beauty of Green Canyon.  The most beautiful part in Green Canyon is when we entered area that resembles a cave. After a few hundred meters swim we will see some waterfalls. If we continued until the end we will see the cave that inhabited by thousands of bats.

Ticket prices for one boat is IDR 125000, Max capacity of the boat is 6 people. Open every day start from 8.00 AM until 05.00 PM and for Friday start from 01.00 PM. For Low Budget Travel, the best time for visit the Green Canyon is dry season. If we visit in rainy season there is the possibility of this place will be close because river water flow can endanger the visitors beside that the color of water river is brown.
